Over the two hours the talk lasted, Martin created a fantastic mood, where laughter and high-fives were accepted as a tool for building a good working environment in the departments.
In a perfect setting high up in the Kattegat Silo in Frederikshavn, the stage was set for the sales department’s annual seminar for 124 employees at NORDJYSKE Medier. The theme of the seminar was "The will to change" — a theme that, for the last 5 years, has been and will continue to be part of the culture at NORDJYSKE Medier. Martin Erichsen was chosen to put the topic in perspective for a sales organisation that has shown a will to change, but that also experiences a busy, hectic everyday.
Over the two hours the talk lasted, Martin created a fantastic mood, where laughter and high-fives were accepted as a tool for building a good working environment in the departments. The call for each employee to take responsibility, backed by Martin’s idea that you choose for yourself which mood you want to be in, gave food for thought.
Martin got everyone in the hall to shout YES with a clenched fist, stand on their chair while clapping and cheering, do the "Strong like a BULL" exercise, jump down off the chair to high-five ten colleagues — while, every now and then, there was time for reflection...
We definitely moved the bar higher at this seminar – not least thanks to two fantastic hours with Martin Erichsen.
