Martin Erichsen creates joy, and happy teachers create happy pupils.

After a long strategy conference, our 100-odd staff were placed in Martin Erichsen’s hands. Learning by doing is the guiding principle with Martin. In fact, it worked so well that there were sore muscles the next day — plus a few re-runs out in the corridors and offices. I won’t give away any more.

Martin Erichsen has to be experienced. It’s a gift to your employees.

Enjoy!

I’d recommend Martin to my fellow managers.

Martin’s talk was superb. It was incredibly affirming to see the staff group together in the exercises and feel the energy that laughter and a focus on the positive create. Martin showed us how we could build new frameworks for teamwork and at the same time raise the bar for happiness at work. Everyone got a physical sense of "we can do this", and we used that in our forward planning.

I’d recommend Martin to my fellow managers.

For anyone open to a bit of laughter, I can definitely recommend Martin to help you focus on the positive — and on laughing.

We were in a process of change that everyone could feel. There were frustrations in the staff group, and we needed to see things in a new light.

Martin Erichsen put laughter into the context of change and showed us that it can actually pay to start by laughing — instead of waiting until you’ve reached the finish line on the task. That way, the laughter became a release, so pent-up frustrations could be voiced in a more open, open-minded dialogue. Laughter’s energetic contribution was very constructive. In his teaching, Martin comes across as a very serious communicator of the use of laughter. It works very powerfully and helps people understand how important the use of laughter is in everyday life.

For anyone open to a bit of laughter, I can definitely recommend Martin to help you focus on the positive — and on laughing. It will make your process more constructive.

Martin’s performance is the kind you simply have to share with others and pass on.

Open the windows. Can you hear it? Because we’re still applauding… Martin’s talk is so inspiring that he gets everyone — whatever their seniority or background — right up on the tables with their hands in the air and smiles all the way to their ears.

His talk is so good that, as the organiser, you get bombarded with glowing emails and funny remarks from the participants. Long after Martin’s talk, people are still raising their hands in the air and shouting "Good morning!!" down the corridors... Martin’s performance is the kind you simply have to share with others and pass on. Consider it done!

If you’re looking for a fantastic speaker whose message gets right under your skin, you needn’t look any further.

Martin is, without a doubt, a talented speaker.

My personal experience is that several people have used Martin Erichsen’s points in everyday conversation. It’s always good when the inspiration sticks. On top of that, I’ve used it myself as inspiration in the municipality’s newsletter, DIALOG.

Our event went off absolutely satisfyingly, and it’s fair to say that Martin Erichsen’s talk on performance and teamwork left its mark on our staff’s thinking.

Our event went off absolutely satisfyingly, and it’s fair to say that Martin Erichsen’s talk on performance and teamwork left its mark on our staff’s thinking. Core ideas from his talk like "choose your state of mind", "raise the bar" and "keep going until you reach the finish line" are quoted often in all kinds of relevant contexts — which has to be seen as an unqualified success.

As I see it, there’s no doubt our staff got a great deal out of being introduced to a way of thinking that takes a positive angle on our ongoing merger. We’ll keep an eye on you and your company’s new initiatives going forward — so it’s not impossible we’ll get in touch again later, once we’ve moved further along in our current process.

In an hour, Martin’s exciting talk turned the whole staff group into deeply inspired colleagues who, to this day, still walk around talking about the enriching experience — and for that we thank him.

Martin’s points are professional, sound and entertaining, and can be warmly recommended to schools looking for a really good talk on teamwork.

The good thing about a speaker is that some things get said that can be hard to say to each other in everyday life. The good thing about Martin is that he says it in a way everyone understands the message. His talk captures everyone with his charming, slightly boyish, understated manner.

The mood held all the way through, and we still use his unconventional tools to choose our state of mind and remind ourselves to raise the bar.

It was fantastic to see how Martin Erichsen, with his talk, managed to get people up out of their chairs and laughing.

It was fantastic to see how Martin Erichsen, with his talk, managed to get people up out of their chairs and laughing. Within just a few minutes, the positive mood had spread to everyone, and you’d never have guessed these were people coming straight from a hard day’s work.

I think it’s admirable how Martin Erichsen senses what his audience needs and how he creates positive energy in the room that shines right through to the audience.

The staff talk a lot about starting the day with a smile, which has definitely set off a positive development for us.

It was just perfect how relevant the talk was to the work the mentors have done with their appreciative approach to everyday work and to new staff. The feedback from participants on his talk about communication in teamwork was superb!

Personally, I found Martin Erichsen’s talk exciting, energising and amusing — but also profound, and something that really got us thinking.

We very much hope we’ll have the pleasure of experiencing one of Martin Erichsen’s talks again.

Fully satisfied here with Martin’s workshop on humour in teamwork!

We’re used to problematising topics, and we got a lot out of being reminded how hard it is to define yourself the moment you step outside your usual frames and usual content.

Personally, it was interesting to see how hard we found it to remember our own successes. The day was perfect! The workshop was met with great satisfaction from the participants:

"He was really exciting..."

"It was really good!"

"It was a great, strong experience."

"How good it was just to focus on something completely different!"

Birgit Boding, Manager
Svendborg Municipality, Holbølls Minde Centret

To round off our theme day on the psychological work environment, we’d invited Martin Erichsen to give a talk on the subject from a fresh angle. Nobody knew what it was about, but everyone was full of anticipation. "Something about Monday morning, wasn’t it…"

Martin was hugely funny, and we managed, among other things, to laugh for half an hour straight — everyone joined in!

We warmly recommend others get to know Martin Erichsen’s talk on motivation and the psychological work environment.

There was huge enthusiasm after Martin Erichsen’s talk on change in the workplace — even now that it’s Monday again! What gets talked about most is his point that we ourselves can decide an enormous amount about how we want to feel. Privately and at work. And that we can’t conveniently lean on "the others". Thought-provoking — and practically useful!

I kept my promise at the start of the management meeting the next day and said: "I’M READY!" "ARE YOU READY?" — at a suitably loud volume. Great astonishment among the directors who hadn’t been there during your talk — and, for that matter, from a guest... But it led to a good, clarifying conversation.

I’m sure we’ll be back for more of Martin Erichsen’s talks!
