Martin did a superb job.

Martin did a superb job. I’ve since had plenty of positive feedback on his talk about communication and conflict resolution. It was funny, entertaining and thought-provoking, and a great start to our evening.

As researchers and developers, we’re naturally also keen to test whether Martin’s hypotheses hold up.

We often take humour and communication in teamwork for granted. Sometimes it’s there and sometimes it isn’t. So it’s interesting to get behind the scenes and hear a bit about what humour and motivation actually do to us as human beings. As researchers and developers, we’re naturally also keen to test whether Martin’s hypotheses hold up. From here, it can be confirmed that humour and communication in teamwork really are liberating, uplifting and mind-expanding.

Here are the warmest recommendations to anyone else looking for a funny, professional and thoroughly sound talk.

We can clearly recommend Martin’s workshop to anyone looking for a different angle on wellbeing for familiar challenges.

Through a hugely fun workshop, Martin has given us a clear idea of how an organisation can live up to its values.

It works incredibly powerfully to see case examples of how other companies use wellbeing to live out their values, and what that means for the company internally and for their customers. The exercises were very powerful and were a great way to anchor his knowledge.

Martin’s teambuilding gave us room to reflect on some important dilemmas:

Our everyday work involves children and families who, for various reasons, are struggling at school, at home and in general. Our optimism and belief in the family’s resources is what should help the family function well again. We focus on family members’ resources and strengths, which is what gets even the hardest-hit families to work with us. It also means we often put the family in a situation where we ask them to do things they can’t always see the sense or meaning of until afterwards — when it works.

Martin’s teambuilding gave us room to reflect on some important dilemmas:

Do we really dare to do this? Is it all under control, so we don’t come to grief? Reason says it can’t be done, but we’ll try anyway!!! The family therapist gives me the belief that I really can change!!!

Martin got everyone across the embers, and I’m hugely impressed by that.

Superb. Definitely the best part of the seminar. Brilliant, brilliant. Really good and funny. An hour and a half with no PowerPoint, but plenty of power. Superb — the best. Fantastic talk!!!! Very engaging. The best part of the whole event. Humour and reflection. He was superb. Incredibly good. Funny and entertaining. Really good. Struck the balance — something to learn from. A really good, relevant talk. An inspiring talk, even if the messages are familiar. He should have opened the event! A good laugh is always good. Funny, and there’s a message in it. Great energy and very amusing, but ran out of steam a little towards the end. A very entertaining and funny talk. Inspiring / gave me energy. Superb. I need to reflect on the content a bit more, but right now it was both inspiring and entertaining. Superb. A fantastic ability to deliver "serious" messages in a funny way. I’ll remember him and his talk. A really good, funny communicator. Thought-provoking and amusing. Fantastic. Entertaining, but the substance was still front and centre. He’s just fantastic! Gives you energy for the future. Martin Erichsen was superb. Martin was a special experience to reflect on positively. Personally, I got a lot out of Martin Erichsen’s talk. Martin Erichsen’s exciting talk was the best part. Martin Erichsen’s talk was the best, because he combined humour with something deeply important. Courage, motivation and so on as the driving force to act and be a content person, both at work and privately.

An inspiring and hugely entertaining talk that hit the mark against my already high expectations.

Martin set the scene for a hugely successful day that worked really well for everyone. Martin Erichsen provided, not only a timely reminder of the importance of humor, but reinforced the added extras it brings along with it.

They say laughter is the best medicine but sometimes, given the stresses of both home and working life, it's easy to let the smile slip and give in to seriousness and gloom.

Martin Erichsen provided, not only a timely reminder of the importance of humor, but reinforced the added extras it brings along with it. As well as breaking down barriers between individuals and groups of people, it is undoubtedly contagious. In fact on the day, he had the most serious with tears rolling down their faces. I still laugh when I think about it now.

One of the most enjoyable sessions I have ever attended.
